Guideline developers have increasingly engaged various interest-holders in all stages of guideline development. However, reporting on interest-holder engagement in practice guidelines often lacks transparency. Questions such as which interest-holders were included, how they were recruited, and how they were engaged in the process are often not described in detail.
To address these gaps, the RIGHT working group will collaborate with the MuSE Consortium to generate an initial list of items, hold consensus surveys and a consensus meeting with 20 representatives to develop a standardised reporting tool for interest-holder engagement in practice guidelines (RIGHT-MuSE extension).
